Ukrainian Future, a business incubator of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, has launched an educational program within the REDpreneurUA initiative, aimed at supporting the most vulnerable segments of the population who are restoring or launching their own business in Ukraine. The program is implemented and financed by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross with the support of the Neighbor in Need Foundation (Austria).
REDpreneurUA aims to develop practical entrepreneurial skills, transform a business idea into a viable business plan with subsequent registration and business launch. Ukrainian Future became the provider of the educational component of the program, developing a specialized course for the second cohort of participants who seek to create or scale their own business. The business incubator provides all educational components of the program, using both its own and partner methodologies, expertise and modern infrastructure.
The Ukrainian Future educational and training program will last from February to April and will combine training sessions, motivational meetings and individual consultations. Program participants will be able to:
• acquire key skills for development to launch and develop their own business;
• participate in practical classes, trainings and master classes from leading experts and business mentors;
• develop individual business plans and financial models taking into account the specifics of their region and chosen field of activity;
• receive support from Ukrainian Future experts to improve business plans before the final pitch;
• compete for funding in the amount of 5,000 to 15,000 euros.
Experienced trainers, mentors and entrepreneurs with practical experience in launching and scaling businesses will work with the participants. They will help to form a clear vision of the project, identify its strengths and weaknesses, adjust the development strategy, develop an effective business plan and prepare for its presentation to an expert jury, and provide post-training support during the development of grant funds.
“We understand that starting or resuming a business is a challenge, especially in today's conditions. Thanks to the support of the Ukrainian Red Cross and our cooperation, we can not only educate the most vulnerable segments of the population, but also provide them with practical tools for a successful start or resumption of their business. This program is a unique chance for participants to gain the necessary entrepreneurial knowledge, expertise, and financial support to create or strengthen their business and make it resilient to external and internal challenges,” said Iryna Bystrova, head of the Ukrainian Future business incubator.
