Prizes were taken by the projects "AR MENU", "Catapult", "ATF" and "Omega". The winning teams will receive sets of business literature and an invitation to join the community of Ukrainian Future residents, a business incubator of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, where they will be able to take their projects to a qualitatively new level.
The final pitch of the UF Startup School Beginner pre-incubation program took place on December 27. It was preceded by 2.5 weeks of online training, during which participants were able to understand the basics of the startup ecosystem, learn to analyze the market and competition, develop business models and plan the development of their projects. 17 teams participated in the Crash Test, which became the final exam of the program:
1. "Laser shooting range" is a compact system for interactive games using a projector.
2. "Coffee page" - cafe-bookstore.
3. “AR MENU” – an interactive menu using augmented reality.
4. "EnviroMate" is an innovative eco-application that encourages waste recycling by awarding users points that can be exchanged for discounts in stores.
5. "Faithful friends" is a mobile application that helps refugees get support from a psychologist and find volunteers to rescue animals left at home.
6. "F.O.R.E.S.T." - robot sapper.
7. "Dreamit" is a platform that makes it easier for students to enter higher education institutions abroad.
8. "Catapult" - a device for providing the initial take-off speed.
9. "The SecondChance" is a social project to help people with a difficult financial situation.
10. An interactive dictionary for learning sign languages using computer vision and open databases.
11. "Omega" is a Ukrainian-language voice assistant.
12. "Fresh path" is a technology for cleaning wastewater from car washes.
13. "Step into the future" - a business school for children and teenagers.
14. "Ecoclearos" - combined sensor biofilters for water purification from industrial waste.
15. "Libratio" is a resource platform with a database of asteroids that can enter the Earth's orbit, with the possibility of computer modeling of their movement.
16. “ATF” is a web platform for forecasting time series using AI.
17. "Dron Patron" is an unmanned aerial vehicle with demining and mapping functions.
Each team had up to 5 minutes to demonstrate the knowledge and skills acquired during the program through the presentation of their project in the format of a business idea. The performances of the participants were evaluated by a professional jury, which included:
- Iryna Bystrova, head of the Ukrainian Future business incubator;
- Natalia Sydorko, trainer-methodologist of educational programs and interactive SCORM courses;
- Vasyl Matei, trainer-consultant of Ukrainian Future, expert in fundraising.
According to the jury's decision, the four winning teams with the highest number of points will be recommended for enrollment in the incubation program (residency) of Ukrainian Future, where they will be able to continue working on the development of their projects. All participants of the final pitch will also receive Business Incubator Certificates for successfully completing the program
