At the end of the training program "Youth Startups: Development and Support Tools", 27 of its participants successfully passed the final test and received Certificates certifying the improvement of their entrepreneurial, professional-pedagogical and information-communication competences, as well as the acquisition of skills in the organization of project work of youth startups.

Key aspects of the program

The training program for educators and curators of youth projects "Youth startups: development and support tools" from Ukrainian Future, a business incubator of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, lasted from April 26 to May 31, 2024. During 5 weeks, program participants attended a series of online trainings that provided them with effective tools for working with young startups, namely, knowledge and practical skills in creating a startup business model, branding, budgeting, business registration and intellectual property protection, leadership, design thinking and presentation formats of start-up projects.

A number of meetings with entrepreneurs and industry experts took place during the program. How to launch a startup and bring it to the global market — Olga Dyachuk, co-founder and operations director of the startup Mosqitter, whose gadgets (mosquito traps) protected the participants of the G20 Summit 2023 economic cooperation forum in India, told the participants of the course.

Results and perspectives

Soon, 27 participants of the program will receive Certificates of successful completion of training and advanced training in the specialized course program. In the future, educators will have the opportunity to continue cooperation with the business incubator by joining the Ukrainian Future network of innovation project coordinators.

The participants of the program started using the tools to support youth startups even before its completion. Thus, at the final class, the head of the "Finance, banking and insurance" group of the regional communal extracurricular educational institution "Rivnenska Small Academy of Sciences of Pupil Youth" Iryna Bodnaryuk - presented her "homework": the pitch deck of her own startup, developed using knowledge, skills and abilities, received during the course. The author of the "Youth startups: development and support tools" program, head of the Ukrainian Future business incubator Iryna Bystrova, highly praised the presentation.
