The pre-incubation program by Ukrainian Future, the business incubator of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, is designed for young innovators aged 15 and above who aspire to turn their inventions into viable startups. UF Startup School Beginner will kick off on December 4 and will run for 3 weeks in an online session format. During this time, program participants will have the opportunity to:

• Immerse themselves in the startup ecosystem;
• Understand the value of their invention and its competitive advantages;
• Evaluate their idea from the perspective of potential customers and partners;
• Transform their idea into a unique business model;
• Strengthen their leadership qualities and teamwork skills;
• Familiarize themselves with key startup management tools;
• Prepare their project for a real startup pitch.

At the end of the program, there will be a Crash Test – testing the idea for compliance with current market challenges. All participants who consistently attend online sessions and prepare presentations for their projects will receive a Certificate from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine upon completion of the program. Prizes are also provided based on the results of the final pitch:

• Vouchers for UF FabLab services to develop prototypes of their inventions;
• Grant for services from the Ukrainian Future business incubator in the format of an incubation program – one-year access to the incubator's material base (office space, Fablab, material library) and services in business consulting, promotion, fundraising, participation in events organized by the business incubator and partners.

Program Start: December 4.
Duration: 3 weeks (December 4-22)
Format: Group online sessions three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) from 17:00 to 18:30 on the Zoom platform + individual consultations (Tuesday, Thursday).
Language: Ukrainian.
Target Audience: Young inventors, winners of JAS competitions, holders of Ukrainian Future certificates, participants in preparatory training for the UF Startup School Beginner 2023 program (aged 15+).

Selection Criteria: Competitive basis.
