Registration is now open for the first cohort of REDpreneur Women – a support program for veteran women focused on business development and social innovation in Ukraine.
We invite veteran women aged 18 and over who are not currently serving in the military and are striving to develop their own business or launch a social enterprise.
The program is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Veterans Fund, with the support of the Austrian fund Neighbour in Need and the Austrian Development Agency. The training and mentorship component is realized in partnership with Ukrainian Future within the framework of the international REDpreneur franchise.
REDpreneur Women involves three months of online training and a final offline defense of business plans in Kyiv. Sessions for the 25 selected participants will take place twice a week and will include work on business plans, financial modeling, and presentation preparation. Following the training and the defense of business plans before the jury, grant funding and further support will be provided to 17 participants to implement their own business ideas.
Participants will receive:
- Business training that combines theory and practical business management skills.
- Training sessions on developing entrepreneurial skills.
Mentorship support from experienced entrepreneurs and experts. - Inspirational sessions for motivation and encouragement.
An online academy with access to up-to-date educational materials. - Networking opportunities – meeting like-minded individuals and potential partners.
- Grant funding of €7,000 for developing or launching their own business.
