Register for UF Startup School Beginner – take the first step towards your own business!

Ukrainian Future, the business incubator of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, announces the launch of UF Startup School Beginner — a pre-incubation online program that fosters innovative thinking through practical training sessions and personalized consultations with entrepreneurs and business coaches. The program offers participants a chance to test their own innovative ideas and prepare them for further development in the startup format.

The program is designed for young innovators aged 15 and older who have an idea with potential and aspire to turn it into a business project. The curriculum covers essential topics for starting a business — from identifying the problem your product solves to financial planning, customer development, marketing, and team building. Participants will learn how to create a business model, define their target audience, test their idea, develop a pitch deck, and confidently present it to investors.

Core learning modules of UF Startup School Beginner include:

  • The business and startup ecosystem. Promising innovations.
    Design thinking as a key to building a successful startup.
  • Business model development. Customer discovery and growth.
  • Startup finance fundamentals. Funding opportunities.
  • Startup marketing and promotion. Building a brand that attracts customers.
  • Developing personal qualities of an entrepreneur and startup founder.
  • Startup presentation formats. The art of pitching.

The program will conclude with a final Pitch Day — Crash Test, where each participant will have the opportunity to present their project before a jury. This is a unique chance to test your idea against real market challenges, receive professional feedback, and compete for prizes, including:

  • Vouchers for UF FabLab services to prototype your inventions;
  • A grant for business incubator services within the Ukrainian Future incubation program — a one-year access to the incubator’s infrastructure (office space, FabLab, Materials Library) and business consulting, marketing, and fundraising support, as well as participation in Ukrainian Future’s own and partner events.

Upon completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from the National Center “Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.”
